love: your career

“This is bigger than ‘acquiring skills’ or whatever people say you need to do to survive in life or career. This is about truly walking with God, and being willing to grow and learn — yes, sometimes in practical ways— but even these things are underpinned by deeper lessons.”

— from the author of Yes, I know I’m having a moment out of focus: reclaiming your career, and other Christian job advice for the weary. (Hardcover – October 3, 2026)

By Logan Nakyanzi Pollard (Author) Format: Hardcover

Summary:

“Life has its twists and turns, and switch backs. There are times when we all lose our way, and need a refocus. When you walk with Jesus Christ, you’ll start seeing every step as a step forward.

You can love your career again— but you will have to start taking a hard look at where you’ve come from, what you really want, and ask for God’s help along the way. And this is what we’ll take on:

• How to get back (or begin) thriving in your career— and, your life.
• Discovering the real YOU, and what God has given you to do with the life He gave you.

Many people, if they have Christian faith, put that in another box that they open up on Sundays— not realizing it is actually a gift that you carry with you into every aspect of your life.

And I don’t mean this in a simplistic way, I mean this is the way: God wants to walk with us— through all aspects of our lives.

As this book addresses the topic of work-life, we are looking through that lens, but as you will see from the anecdotes that I share, this discussion is broader, and really gets at YOU and what God has given you to do with the life He gave you.”

WHAT IS MEDIA? WHY IT’S BROKEN. HOW TO BE BETTER.

a guide for new media.

“This book exists because I do think there is a better way, and people who are of goodwill can and should be putting forward their stories and values, rather than giving up territory to people who have no respect for the public.”

— from the author of Love God Again: how to be a media person and not suck as a human being— and, rewrite the book on media.

By Logan Nakyanzi Pollard (Author) Format: Hardcover (Oct 3, 2026)

Summary:

• Find your voice and navigate this complex media landscape, informed by faith.
• Process your past, confront difficulties, and move the narrative (either as the story you tell through art, reporting, etc.) and/or the one you tell yourself, with grace.

Our focus is primarily ‘the news’ but I think it is important to understand how NEWS is just part of a larger picture of how interconnected media is. It is a system, which makes sense actually, if you look at the origin of the word- MEDIUM- this soup of content has no borders. And as such, I’m sure you can see how it is used to validate a point of view (I saw it in five places!) which can be a good or bad thing.

Probably bad.

But let’s continue and not get bogged down right now. Too much to cover!”

“Style is innate— and synonymous with self-assurance, inner-knowing, peace, wisdom.”

mpola, mpola: a Christian woman’s guide to real style. (Hardcover – August 3, 2026)

By Logan Nakyanzi Pollard (Author) Format: Hardcover

Summary:

Discover your true style.

HERE’S THE TRUTH ABOUT STYLE:

Style is not a thing. It is a byproduct of authenticity.

“And what I mean by that is this: Most stylists are
technicians: they “teach” you what to wear with what. This is
like a teacher walking around with you giving you all the
answers, but never asking you to think for yourself. And then
— and this is the worst part: you thinking that if you wear
the “right” combinations you will have style.
But nothing is further from the truth.
Style is innate— and synonymous with self-assurance,
inner-knowing, peace, wisdom.”
